Hire React & Next.js Developers

Your React front end needs another pair of hands, or its only owner has just left, and hiring locally in Seattle or Berlin takes months. We find React and Next.js developers in Ukraine and Eastern Europe, people we know personally, and send you a shortlist of 2 to 4 vetted candidates. You interview them and choose. The developer joins your team and sprints, full or part time, paid by the hour.

What our React developers do

This is outstaffing by stack: you manage the developer, and we take care of everything around them. We select for the React you actually run, from a Next.js App Router project in strict TypeScript to an older single page app with class components. For a whole web product built for a fixed price, see web application development. If the work needs a whole group with its own PM, a dedicated development team fits better.

How hiring works

01

04

You describe the role

React and Next.js versions, TypeScript or not, the main libraries, seniority, full or part time, and the hours you need to share.

02

04

We send a shortlist

Usually within 1 to 3 weeks; a niche or very senior profile can take 4 to 6 weeks.

03

04

You interview

A technical interview, a review of code they wrote before, or a short paid test task: your choice.

04

04

The developer starts

We handle onboarding and access, the developer joins your stand-ups and code reviews, and you get a monthly report.

What you get

The code and all intellectual property are handed over to you under the contract. When the product needs backend hands too, our Node.js developers join the same way.

A shortlist of 2 to 4 React developers matched to your versions, libraries and seniority.

The final choice, made by you after your own interviews.

icon

Contracts, NDAs, equipment and access to GitHub, Jira or Figma, arranged by us.

icon

A monthly report on hours and work, plus regular check-ins.

icon

HR support, so problems with workload come up early.

icon

A replacement if the developer does not fit, without a new search on your side.

How you can work with us

Whatever the format, the work is shaped around how your business runs, not a template, and what we build belongs to you. The same people and standards in three formats: choose the one that fits your stage, or combine them.

Developers by stack

One specialist or several, in your team and under your management. Pick the stack:

Pricing

$45 to $65 an hour

The rate depends on seniority (middle, senior or lead), on full time or part time, and on niche skills such as a large Next.js migration, a design system or deep performance work. Compared with a local hire, costs are usually 40 to 60% lower.

You pay for the hours worked, with one invoice a month. The rate includes selection, contracts, equipment, HR support, replacements and monthly reports. Your own tools and licences, such as Vercel, Figma or paid component libraries, stay on your side.

FAQ

Which seniority do we need?

A middle developer fits clear tasks in a codebase with set rules and a reviewer. A senior builds features alone and decides how. A lead is for a front end that needs architecture, conventions and code review for others.

Our app still uses class components and Create React App. Is that a problem?

No. Many products run on older React, and we look for developers comfortable there. They keep it running and, if you decide to, move it to hooks, Vite or Next.js step by step.

Can the developer also work on the backend?

Some React developers also write Node.js and can take API tasks. Put it in the role and we shortlist for full stack experience.

Who manages the developer?

You do. The developer takes tasks from your backlog, follows your process and reports to your lead. We handle contracts, equipment, HR support and replacements.

What hours will they work?

Ukraine and Eastern Europe overlap 3 to 5 hours with Western Europe and 2 to 4 hours with the US East Coast. Most of our developers are flexible and work well async. For West Coast teams, including Seattle, we agree shared hours up front.

Can we hire the developer in-house later?

Ask us. We discuss it case by case.

Do we need a Next.js developer or a React developer?

If your pages must be rendered on the server for search and speed, or will be, look for Next.js experience with the App Router and server components. For an app behind a login, such as a dashboard or a customer portal, React with Vite is usually enough. Put the router and the hosting in the role, and we shortlist for them.

We have a Next.js prototype built with an AI tool. Can a React developer take it over?

Yes, but start with a review rather than new features. A generated prototype often looks finished while the backend, security, payments and hosting are still missing. A senior React developer can say what to keep and what to rewrite; if the product needs a backend as well, it becomes a project for a team rather than one person.

Can we start with a part-time React developer?

Yes. Part time suits a front end with a steady flow of smaller tasks, or a first month while you see how the developer fits your process. You agree the hours in advance and pay only for the hours worked, on one invoice a month.

What do we keep when the developer leaves?

With outstaffing the developer works in your repository, so what needs handing over is knowledge: ask for open tasks, unfinished branches and known problems in writing, and close the accounts the same day. When we build a product as a team or a fixed project, you get the code, the deployment commands, the server requirements, a rollback procedure and an AGENTS.md file at handover.
