We pick from a large pool of developers we know personally, not from a bench. You see 2 to 4 candidates who already fit your stack and your codebase, and you choose. If instead you want us to build or rebuild an application for a fixed price, see Laravel development. If you need a whole group with its own PM, a dedicated team fits better.
Hire Laravel & PHP Developers
Your Laravel application needs another pair of hands, or someone to replace the developer who built it, and a local hire would take months. We find a Laravel or PHP developer who joins your team: works in your repository, your tracker and your sprints, reports to your tech lead, full time or part time, and is paid by the hour.
$45 to $65 an hour
What our Laravel developers do
-
01.
Laravel back ends
Eloquent models and relations, queues on Redis with Horizon, events, scheduled jobs and notifications, in service layers the next developer can read.
-
02.
APIs and integrations
REST and JSON APIs with Sanctum or Passport, webhooks, payment gateways such as Stripe, CRM and ERP connections with retries and logging.
-
03.
Upgrades and legacy PHP
Moving old Laravel versions and PHP 7 code to current releases with Rector and Composer, step by step. Plain PHP and older Symfony-based code too.
-
04.
Admin panels and screens
Back offices in Filament or Nova, Blade and Livewire screens, Inertia with Vue. For a heavier front end, a Vue developer can join alongside.
-
05.
Tests and code quality
Feature and unit tests in PHPUnit or Pest, static analysis with PHPStan or Larastan, and code review in your pull requests.
-
06.
Data and performance
MySQL and PostgreSQL schemas, slow query hunting, indexes and caching, deployments through Forge, Envoyer, Docker or your CI.

The developer starts
We handle onboarding and access, the developer joins your next sprint, and each month you get a report on the hours, the work and the fit.
What you get
Every line of code, every migration and all the intellectual property are handed over to you under the contract.
A shortlist of 2 to 4 Laravel or PHP developers checked against your stack and your Laravel version.
You interview each candidate and make the final call.
Contracts, NDAs, equipment and access to your repository and servers, arranged by us.
A developer who works inside your process: your sprints, your code review, your stand-ups.
Monthly reports and regular check-ins, so small problems come up while they are still small.
A replacement if the developer does not fit, with the handover organised by us.

How you can work with us
Whatever the format, the work is shaped around how your business runs, not a template, and what we build belongs to you. The same people and standards in three formats: choose the one that fits your stage, or combine them.

Pricing
$45 to $65 an hour
The rate depends on seniority (middle, senior or lead), on full time or part time work, and on niche skills such as large legacy migrations or heavy integration work. Compared with a local hire in the US or Western Europe, the cost is usually 40 to 60% lower.
You pay by the hour for the hours actually worked, on one monthly invoice. The rate covers selection, contracts, equipment, HR support, replacements and monthly reports. Hosting, Forge, Nova and your other tools and licences stay on your side.

FAQ
Which seniority do we need?
For upkeep and features in a codebase with clear rules, a middle developer is often enough. With no tests, no documentation or a risky upgrade ahead, a senior or lead pays off faster. We advise, you choose.
Can the developer work with our old Laravel version or plain PHP?
Yes. Tell us the versions and the main packages, and we shortlist people who have worked with similar legacy code.
Can they also handle the front end?
Many Laravel developers are comfortable with Blade, Livewire and Inertia with Vue. For a separate React or Vue application with a lot of work, a front end specialist is usually better.
What about time zones and hours?
Our developers are in Ukraine and Eastern Europe: 3 to 5 hours of overlap with Western Europe and 2 to 4 hours with the US East Coast. Most are flexible with hours and work well async.
What if the developer does not fit?
Tell us. We replace the specialist, organise the handover ourselves, and the tasks in your backlog keep moving.
Can we hire the developer in-house later?
Ask us. We discuss it case by case.
Do we need Laravel Octane?
Usually not at first. Octane keeps the application in memory between requests, which speeds it up but turns stored request data and static arrays into bugs and memory leaks. Check simpler settings such as OPcache, caching and slow queries first. If you still need Octane, hire a senior who has run it in production.
Can the developer upgrade our Laravel version and keep shipping features?
Yes, if the upgrade runs on a separate branch and a closed copy, one major version at a time, with a rollback plan. Features keep going to production from the main branch in the meantime. For a jump of several versions with no tests, plan the upgrade time explicitly; a senior estimates it after reading composer.json and the code.
What should we prepare before the developer starts?
Personal accounts in your repository, tracker and servers with only the rights the role needs, a copy of the application that runs locally, and a first small task. A short written description of the structure, rules and deployment commands (an AGENTS.md file) shortens onboarding the most. We handle the contract, the NDA and the equipment.
Should we hire a Laravel developer or order a Laravel project from you?
Hire a developer if you have a tech lead who sets the tasks and reviews the code; you pay $45 to $65 an hour. Order a project if the scope can be described in advance and you want us to answer for the result; fixed-price Laravel projects start from $15,000.
