We pick from our pool of mobile developers in Ukraine and Eastern Europe whom we know personally, matched to your app and its code. You get 2 to 4 vetted candidates, interview them and choose. This page is about developers who join your team, paid by the hour. To have an app designed and built as a project with a fixed price, see mobile app development.

The developer starts
We arrange the contract, equipment and access, and you get a report every month.
What you get
The code and everything the developer creates for your app are handed over to you under the contract. When releases need testing on real devices, a QA engineer can join next to the developer.
A shortlist of 2 to 4 mobile developers checked on your platform: Swift, Kotlin or Flutter.
The final say on who joins: you interview and decide.
A developer in your repository, sprints, task tracker, App Store Connect and Play Console, under your lead.
Contracts, NDA, equipment and access to your code and store accounts arranged by us.
A monthly report on hours and work done, with regular check-ins.
A replacement if the developer does not fit, with the handover of the code and open tasks arranged by us.

How you can work with us
Whatever the format, the work is shaped around how your business runs, not a template, and what we build belongs to you. The same people and standards in three formats: choose the one that fits your stage, or combine them.

Pricing
$45 to $65 an hour
The rate depends on seniority (middle, senior or lead), on full time or part time, and on niche skills such as native work on both platforms, old Objective-C or Java code, or Bluetooth.
You pay for the hours worked, with one invoice a month. The rate includes selection, contracts, equipment, HR support, replacements and the monthly reports. Your Apple and Google developer accounts, paid SDKs, testing services and other licences stay on your side.

FAQ
Do we need native developers or one Flutter developer?
If the app relies heavily on platform features or already has native code, native iOS and Android developers fit better. For a new app, or one already in Flutter, one Flutter developer can cover both stores.
Our app has old code. Can they work with it?
Yes. Objective-C in an iOS app, Java in an Android app or an outdated Flutter version are common. The developer learns the code first, then updates it step by step without stopping releases.
Can the developer publish to the App Store and Google Play?
Yes. They prepare builds, test tracks and listings and answer review questions through your accounts, so the apps stay under your name.
What about time zones and hours?
Our developers are in Ukraine and Eastern Europe: 3 to 5 hours of overlap with Western Europe and 2 to 4 with the US East Coast, and most are flexible with hours and work well async. We work with companies in Seattle, across the US and in Europe.
What if the developer does not fit?
We replace the specialist and arrange the handover of the code and open tasks.
Can we hire the developer in-house later?
Ask us. We discuss it case by case.
Whose Apple and Google accounts does the developer use?
Yours. The developer is invited to your App Store Connect and Play Console with the rights the role needs and publishes through your accounts, so the apps stay under your name. The Apple Developer Program costs $99 a year; a Google Play developer account has a one-time $25 fee, and personal Google accounts created after 13 November 2023 must run a closed test with at least 12 testers for 14 days before production (Apple and Google, October 2026). Register both accounts to your company.
Can the mobile developer also change our back end?
Usually that is a separate role. The mobile developer works against your REST or GraphQL API: sign-in, offline data and sync, push notifications. When the API itself needs new endpoints or fixes, add a back-end developer for your stack, part time if the load is small. Each person is billed only for the hours worked.
Do we need a QA engineer next to the mobile developer?
When releases go out regularly and must be checked on real devices, yes. A QA engineer installs builds from TestFlight or Firebase on real iPhones and Android phones and adds Appium automation once the app is stable. QA engineers start from $30 an hour for manual testing and join the same way, in your team and under your lead.
When is hiring a mobile developer the wrong choice?
When you have not yet decided whether the business needs an app: a faster website or a PWA may solve the same problem for less. When you want the app designed and built for a fixed price, that is mobile app development, from $30,000. And when design, development and testing should run as one group under a project manager, a dedicated team fits better than single hires.
