Seven years ago, we developed the visual identity and website for Spanish jewelry house Nico Juliany. The introduction came through Nicole, a Kharkiv jewelry boutique whose catalog site we had built — Nico Juliany was one of the brand partners carried on its shelves, and the connection came directly from there.
The project was deliberately different from a typical e-commerce website. The brand was already established, and its jewelry was sold through boutiques and a network of retailers, so the website did not need to compete with physical stores or simply drive online sales. Its role was to communicate the value of the brand before a customer ever entered a boutique.
We developed the brand identity, brand book, custom typography and visual elements, and brought the entire system together in a custom Laravel website.
The central challenge was to translate the feeling of luxury, intimacy and exclusivity into a digital environment. Every detail — from typography and visual composition to navigation and interaction — was designed to reflect the precision of the jewelry itself and convey the thinking behind each piece.
In 2026, we returned to the brand to develop a new brand book and visual direction, evolving Nico Juliany's identity for its next stage while preserving the character and heritage of the jewelry house.
