QA & Software Testing

A bug a customer finds costs more than the same bug found a week earlier. We test websites, online stores, web applications and mobile apps by hand and with automated tests, so releases go out with known risks, not surprises. Bring in one QA engineer, a small team or a one-off check before a launch.

What we test

Testers join your process as it is: your tracker, your sprints, your release schedule. We pick people for the task from a large pool of specialists we know personally. When we build the product ourselves, through web application development or mobile app development, QA works in the project from the first sprint.

How it works

01

04

You describe the product

What it is built with, how often you release, where bugs hurt most. We agree the scope, roles and rate.

02

04

We propose people

A shortlist of 2 to 4 vetted QA specialists for the role, usually within 1 to 3 weeks. You interview them and choose.

03

04

Testing joins your process

The tester gets access to the product, tracker and test environments and writes the first test cases. Contracts, NDAs, equipment and onboarding are on us, as with our outstaffing.

04

04

A steady rhythm

Testing follows your sprints and releases, and automation grows step by step. If a specialist does not fit, we replace them.

Want the next release to reach customers without surprises?

What you get

The test cases, scripts and reports are handed over to you under the contract. If you need developers as well, a dedicated development team can include QA from the start.

icon

A test strategy and test cases you can reuse with any team.

icon

Clear bug reports in your tracker (Jira, Linear, GitHub or another): steps, expected and actual result, screenshots or video, priority.

icon

A regression check before each release with a short note: what was tested, what is open, what is risky.

icon

Automated tests in your repository, running in your pipeline.

icon

Load and performance results: the limits found and what causes them.

icon

A monthly report on the work done, plus regular check-ins.

How you can work with us

Whatever the format, the work is shaped around how your business runs, not a template, and what we build belongs to you. The same people and standards in three formats: choose the one that fits your stage, or combine them.

Pricing

From $30 an hour

The rate depends on the role and seniority: manual testing costs less than automation, and load testing needs a more senior engineer. You can pay by the hour, or a fixed monthly amount for a tester who works with you full time.

A one-off pre-launch check is estimated and agreed before it starts. The rate covers the specialist's work, contracts, equipment, HR support and reporting. Paid tools, such as device clouds or load testing services, are billed separately or bought on your account. Fixing the bugs found is development work, not testing.

FAQ

Manual or automated testing: which do we need?

Usually both. Manual testing finds problems in new features and in how the product feels, while automated tests keep checking what already works. We propose the balance after seeing how often you release and what breaks.

Can you test a product another team built?

Yes. The tester needs access to the product, any documentation and a person on your side to answer questions.

Do you test only before a launch, or all the time?

Both. A one-off check before a launch or a major release suits a site that changes rarely. A product with regular releases needs a tester in the team, part time or full time.

Which tools do your testers use?

For automation, Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium and similar, chosen for your stack. For bug reports, the tracker you already use.

Can you test mobile apps on real devices?

Yes, on real iPhone and Android devices, and in device clouds when more models are needed. The devices follow your audience and analytics.

What time zone do the testers work in?

Our specialists are in Ukraine and Eastern Europe. That gives 3 to 5 hours of overlap with Western Europe and 2 to 4 hours with the US East Coast. Testing also works well async: bugs found during our day wait in your tracker the next morning.

How much does QA cost, and what is not included in the rate?

QA and software testing costs from $30 an hour for manual testing; automation engineers, senior QA and niche skills such as load testing or mobile automation cost more. You pay by the hour, invoiced monthly, or a fixed monthly amount for a full-time tester, by bank transfer under the agreement. Not included: a one-off pre-launch check, which is estimated and agreed before it starts; paid tools such as device clouds or load testing services, billed separately or bought on your account; and fixing the bugs found, which is development work.

Which tests do you automate first?

The checks that repeat before every release on flows that have stopped changing: sign-up and sign-in, checkout or payment and the permissions of each role, the API contracts a mobile app or an integration depends on, the regression set someone now runs by hand, and a short smoke check after every deployment. New features, the feel of the product and layouts on real devices stay with manual testers.

Can you test a product whose code was written with AI tools?

Yes, and such code needs more attention to what a demo does not show: whether the server, not just the interface, enforces who can see and change which data, whether keys or payment credentials sit in code that runs in the browser, edge cases the prompt never mentioned, and the critical flows after every regeneration. If the product is about to take payments or personal data and nobody has reviewed its code, start with an MVP review, from $3,000, and test the parts that stay.

Do your testers fix the bugs they find?

No. Fixing the bugs found is development work, done by your developers or ours, and it is not part of the QA rate. The tester reports each bug in your tracker with the steps, the expected and the actual result, screenshots or a video and a priority, then checks the fix and adds the case to the regression set so the bug does not come back.

Do you run load tests before a launch or a sale?

Yes. A more senior engineer writes k6, JMeter or Gatling scripts that model the traffic you expect, and you get the limits found and what causes them: the database, a queue or an external API. Load testing services, if needed, are billed separately or bought on your account. Changing the servers or the cloud setup after the test is DevOps work, at $50 to $70 an hour.

Do you check accessibility?

We check the basics against WCAG 2.2: keyboard navigation, visible focus, text alternatives for images, labels and error messages in forms, and colour contrast. These fixes also help AI assistants and shopping agents that read your pages. When a product needs a full accessibility audit, we say so.
